THE MOGADISHU MILE:
AN ANNUAL TRIBUTE TO COMMITTED EXCELLENCE

 Year 3: October 14, 2023

Mogadishu Mile 2023: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future

On October 14, 2023, Queenslake Horse Farm paused operations with pride, opening our gates for the third annual Mogadishu Mile to honor the 19 soldiers who gave their lives in Mogadishu.

Benefitting Three Rangers Foundation, we hosted 40 four-man teams on our iconic lake-and-trail course. Major Sponsors returned: Texas Roadhouse,  J. Mattingly 1845, Starbucks Coffee, 418 Communications, Hamilton-Hinkle Paving Company,, Farm Credit (stage sponsor), Stoney Top Burgoo, Scooters Coffee, Highbridge Water, and Tore’ Derolf (bagpiper) and Eagle Creek Bluegrass & Country Band. Queenslake provided the facility, landscaping, excavation, staging, tables, chairs, PR, promotional materials, printing, signage, and full event support.

Our farm became a living memorial, reinforcing Queenslake’s commitment to this event we’ve hosted since day one.
