THE MOGADISHU MILE:
AN ANNUAL TRIBUTE TO COMMITTED EXCELLENCE

 Year 2: October 1, 2022

Mogadishu Mile 2022: Honoring the Legacy, Strengthening the Brotherhood

On October 1, 2022, Queenslake Horse Farm eagerly stopped operations to host the second Mogadishu Mile, remembering the 19 fallen heroes of Mogadishu. Benefitting Kentucky Wounded Heroes, we welcomed 25 four-man teams to our lakefront course and wooded obstacles.

Due to the success in 2021 Quenslake Sponsors all returned: Bourbon 30 (now J. Mattingly 1845), Texas Roadhouse, Starbucks Coffee, 418 Communications, and Hamilton-Hinkle Paving Company.  Queenslake again supplied the facility, landscaping, excavation, tables, chairs, staging, PR, promotional materials, printing, signage, and special guest accommodations—transforming our farm into a tribute to courage.

The event grew, but its heart stayed at Queenslake, where we’ve hosted now back-to-back years..
